Final Film OPening Cu
These are the few changes done to our film opening. The changes that was done is the volume level in the scene where the characters entered the school through the gates. This is because of the comments we have receive on the rough draft critisize on the volume being too loud, so the volume was decreased. Then after that scene, so we increased the volume for other sequences that sound too fainted. The next change we made was changing the title card from "one year later" to "one week later" so that the film makes more sense. The final touches we made was cropping the ending title and music.

Editing Process for week 7 & 8
The film does not have a name yet but it will very soon, but for the title screen, we do plan on using a basic font being that the focus of our film is just the actual shots. The production team is still discussing on if video effects will be used on the film opening yet, I believe we may have to because we must see the lighting, title screens, and sound effects to help give it a more professional feel(such as the noise that frightens the victim to start running, and then the sound of them falling onto the ground with a loud crack of their head). Especially the uses of black screen at the movie opening for our video transitioning (also to build suspense) but as the film progresses, there will be more complex transitions in between two shots.
During production there has yet to be any major problem in editing, however, there was some difficulty in syncing different shots in relation to one another, because in some places the timing of transitions was awkward had to be readjusted, but was quickly resolved.
The team only had to spend Friday editing because our goal this week was only to film out two of the storyboards created and pick what we found to be for the best which was able to be accomplished in one day.
Lenka is the main editor but Chris will be really running the show as always.

Filming Process w/ picture
In this picture, we were playing around how the chase scenes should be viewed. At first, we were thinking a point of view from one of the actors standing but we decided to have the camera doing a more dutch angle: audience sees us running and seeing one of the characters tripping. |
Cameraman Trent Fetzer is recording a high angle shot of Christopher Charlestin, who is laying on the ground and planning to zoom on his face to show his frightened expression on camera. |
Another Dutch angle of us running from the murderer |
A high angle video of us finding a key |
In this picture, Christopher Charlestin is standing in a corner trying to find a great camera angle for a certain angle that during a recording session out in the hallway.
In this picture, the cast rolled the water bottle in front of Miranda’s feet so that she can trip in order to show Miranda’s harsh fall after someone had mysteriously rolled a water bottle onto the floor, causing her harsh fall and eventual death.
In all, we did experience some difficulties which mainly goes with an idea to change the storyboard or not, this is because some of cast was not sure if our storyboard was possible to film with such little budget and such little time. But, we learned that it would just be better to just follow the storyboard exactly not get distracted with new ideas that may lead to confusion. At the end of the day, we done what we have to be done.
